Agios Georgios (Greek: Άγιος Γεώργιος meaning Saint George) is a village and a former municipality on the island of Corfu, Ionian Islands, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Corfu, of which it is a municipal unit.〔(Kallikratis law ) Greece Ministry of Interior 〕 It is located in the northwestern part of Corfu and has a land area of and a population of 4,958 (2001 census). The seat of the municipality was the town of Agros (pop. 460).
